This is the second tube of your product that I've purchased this Summer. Shortly after relocating from Utah to Florida, the cannonbone keratitis we'd been battling all Winter on my Arabian gelding really flared. I stayed with my veterinarian's regimen of chlorhexidine and benzoyl peroxide but added EMT. It took 3 weeks but the keratitis, which has been a constant for over a year, now appears to be completely gone. The hair is almost completely grown back and the affected skin is smooth rather than slightly rough and scaly - after previous remissions, the skin has been rough and hair regrowth sparse.
I purchased a second tube because I gave what remained of the first to a friend whose horse cut his face in the lip area. We're hoping that the flexible barrier the EMT creates will promote healing with minimal scarring. I'm replenishing my stock before I need it because I now consider EMT an essential in my barn medicine kit!
